There are many park-and-ride lots located throughout the Capital District and in surrounding counties.  Free parking is provided to carpoolers who meet their fellow carpoolers at the lot, and many lots are served by buses as well.  To find a park-and-ride lot near you, click on the map above or see a list of lots by county below.  Transit service (if available) is identified by lot.  A map identifying the lot location is also included.

 Some private bus companies, such as the Northway Express, Brown Coach, Schoharie County Public Transportation, Columbia County Public Transportation, Adirondack Trailways and Yankee Trails provide daily commuter service from these lots to downtown Albany.  You can connect from any of these buses to CDTA buses for free using the LINK Program.

The NYS Thruway maintains a list of Park and Ride lots that are easily accessible from NYS Thruway interchanges.  Click here for a list of those lots.
