Thirteen Capital District Clean Communities coalition members applied for and received funding under the USDOE Clean Cities FY09 Petroleum Reduction Technologies Projects for the Transportation Sector Funding Program.  Seventy-one alternative fueled vehicles were purchased using partial funding from ARRA.  This program was financed through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
